What about the gear?
Part of the fun of being a muscian is getting to play with toys that make noise! You will hear a strong presence of my American made early 90s Fender Strat with the lace pickups on most of my songs. You will also hear that hip sound of my Gretsch 6120 spread througout as well. I like to use my Vox AC15 and a Digitech GSP 1101 for my electric guitar tones. I like a classic sound so I don't do a ton of crazy stuff on the effects. I have a couple of pedals for some distortion and thats about it. When it comes to the acoustic sounds I love my Taylors. I play two different Taylors on this album, the Big Baby and a 114CE Grand Auditorium cutaway. I love the tone and playability of them both! On the bass end I use an American 2006 75 Jazz Reissue. I can get a wide range of bass sounds with it. I tap it into a Tech21 SansAmp Bass driver for more flavor.
